Hi, I’m Kelly! I started Luminy Social with a simple goal: to help brands create digital content that not only looks beautiful but is backed by real strategy. After years of working in journalism, PR, photography, and video production, I realized what I loved most was helping people tell their stories in ways that feel authentic and intentional—and making sure that content actually works for their business.

A Background Built on Storytelling

I’ve worn a lot of hats over the years—journalist, videographer, photographer, writer, editor, designer. That mix has shaped the way I work today. I know how to ask the right questions, connect with people, and bring out honest, emotional stories that resonate. Whether I’m shooting content or shaping a brand message, it’s always rooted in storytelling and strategy that just feels good.

Why I Started Luminy Social

After working in both media and marketing, I saw a gap: lots of beautiful content out there, but it wasn’t always posted or connected to a clear strategy or purpose. I wanted to bridge that gap—to help businesses not just look good online, but actually connect with their audience in meaningful, strategic ways. Ways that stand out and earn followers IRL, too!
